What Precautionary Measures to Observe When Microwaving?
Undeniably, our cooking routines are greatly affected by the new inventions which are mostly instant. Accordingly, people need to keep their feet faster than they should be in order to catch up with the demands of the new world. Nowadays, many choose and want to cook using MICROWAVES to match their current lifestyle. But most of them still need to know more of the many safety tips while microwaving. So here are a few of the many things that you really need to abide with:
1.DO NOT BE A YOUR MICROWAVE'S DOCTOR
Should there be anything wrong with your microwave, do not repair it by yourself because you might end up worsening its case. Remember to always seek for a specialist's touch.
2.USE HAND GLOVES
Never touch anything that you placed inside the microwave with your bare hands. It's HOT! Never forget to have your hand gloves. You may also opt to use forceps.
3.AWAY FROM STOVES AND BASINS
Like any electric-operated device, one must know that it is strictly not advisable to situate microwaves near gas stoves and even adjacent water basins.
4.NO MULTI-PLUGGING
When using your microwave, do not plug other electric device with the same outlet. Reduction of electrical energy supply to your microwave may harm the microwave itself. This might also result to short circuit and affect all other devices plugged on the same outlet.
5.UNBLOCK VENTS
Inside the microwaves are built-in ventilators to keep them from overheating. So when blocked, this may cause microwaves to malfunction or to overheat. Or worse, this may result to explosion.
6.COVER TO STAY SAFE
When reheating food, for instance, constantly cover your food while inside the microwave. This is to prevent your microwave from being left with unpleasant odor as given off by the food.
7.NO PLAIN WATER PLEASE
Although there are still those who continue heating water in a microwave, everyone are yet encouraged not to. Heating water may lead to serious injuries that I need not enumerate anymore.
8.SURE TO SHUT THE DOOR
You must see to it that the door of the microwave is closed securely. Otherwise, this may result to a very lethal damage which may cost more than your microwave. So make sure you really have shut the door.
